WOLFFORTH FARMERS MARKET
VENDOR SERVICES
Thank you for your interest in joining the Wolfforth Farmers Market. We are a year-round farmers market, and we are open every Saturday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. and every Sunday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Farmers and ranchers selling locally grown produce, farm fresh eggs, and pasture raised meats, are always given spaces first at our farmers market. All vendors are required to have their own 10x10 tent, tent weights that are 25 lbs. per tent leg, tables, signage, etc… We do not allow tent stakes at our market. You can get weights at Academy, Walmart, or Amazon.
Home Bakers, Food, and Drink Vendors
Home bakeries must follow all rules under the Texas Cottage Food Law (texascottagefoodlaw.com). You will have to make sure that the food you are making is on the “allowed” list, that you have a current Food Handlers License (you can get this license online), and that you label every item according to the Texas Cottage Food Law.
Food that is not on the “allowed” list must be made in a commercial or manufacturing kitchen that has a current city/state health inspection OR you must prepare, make, and cook all food and drinks at the market. You will also need a Temporary Food Permit through the state of Texas to sell these items at our market. Our State Health Inspector can help you with this permit. Her name is Kandace McNeese, and her phone number is 806-738-3126. If you can’t get ahold of her, the main number for the health inspectors in charge of our market is 806-783-6484 and their website is phr1.retailfoods@dshs.texas.gov.
Handcrafted and Retail Items
All of our craft vendors must make all of the items that they sell at the market unless they have special permission from the owners to sell a product that was made by a friend or family member.
Wholesale/Retail/Information Booths
We do allow a few vendors to sell items that they purchase to re-sell, such as antiques, t-shirts, direct sale businesses, etc.
Vendor Fees
We have two seasons at our farmers market since we are open year-round. Our High Season is from April 15th to October 14th, and our Holiday Market Season is from October 15th to April 14th. There is a one-time fee of $45 when you sign up for each season. The $45 season fee must be paid by Venmo or in cash before your first market and it is used for advertising, market upkeep, and improvements to the market.
Our tent spaces are $30 per market on Saturdays, and our Sunday markets are free for vendors. These spaces can be part-time or full-time. If you are a full-time vendor, you will get a permanent space (when one opens up), and if you are a part-time vendor you will move to a different space each time you are at the market.
Our vendor barn spaces are $300 per month for the small barns, and the larger barns are all different prices depending on the size. We have a waiting list for our barns, and you must be a full-time tent vendor to be put on the waiting list for a barn. If you get a vendor barn, we do ask that the barn is open every Saturday rain or shine. Sundays are optional.
Permits, Taxes, & Licenses
All vendors are responsible for obtaining, maintaining, and paying for the proper permits, taxes, and licenses for their business and keeping copies with them for the health inspectors and comptroller.

VENDOR VILLAGE - BARNS
Our most popular barns in Vendor Village are our small individual barns located in both our North, South, and West retail sections. These barns have electricity and offer protection from the weather year-round. Vendors using these barns will also set up a traditional canopy and table(s) in front of their barn on market days unless the weather is prohibitive. We also have a few larger rustic barns that are only available as other vendors relinquish them. Vendor parking is directly behind or near each vendor barn. There is an improved walking surface for booths and customers, and customer parking is located in both the front and rear or the market property. Barn rentals typically require a three-month commitment and requirement to be open each Saturday. Rent for the barns start at $300 per month and is collected monthly.
